Dr. Harwati Hashim is the Deputy Dean (Undergraduate) at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Specialising in Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL), her areas of concentration are Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL), innovative pedagogies for Technology-enhanced Language Learning, the use of technology in language teaching and learning, and language learning strategies. She is a certified Apple Professional Learning Provider, Apple Teacher, and Apple Teacher Swift Playgrounds. She has been involved as trainer in various trainings at national and international level. She is an educational technology enthusiast and an e-learning practitioner. She is an active speaker and trainer for more than 50 webinars and workshops that cover topics such as digital pedagogy, technology for teaching and learning, innovations in teaching and learning, research and publications, and active learning. She is a member of Apple Professional Learning Malaysia (APLM), Pacific Computer-Assisted Language Learning (PacCALL) Association, and Mobile Learning Association Malaysia (MLAM). She has received numerous awards and scholarships in her specialisation area, i.e., the GloCALL2019 Award and the Fourteenth International Conference on e-Learning & Innovative Pedagogies Emerging Scholar Award 2021. She has also published numerous research articles in high-indexed journals, books, and book chapters and won more than 50 awards in various national and international innovation competitions.
